About Dr. Melissa Larsen
Owner/Founder
Dr. Melissa Larsen is a board-certified plastic surgeon known for her thoughtful approach, technical precision, and commitment to natural, balanced results. She believes the best outcomes are the ones that feel effortless—enhancing each patient’s features in a way that looks like themselves, simply more refreshed and confident.
Her path to plastic surgery reflects a deep and focused commitment to the field. Dr. Larsen earned her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine before completing a highly competitive six-year integrated residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. This type of training is considered the gold standard, providing comprehensive experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures from the outset of surgical training.
Following residency, Dr. Larsen practiced as a plastic surgeon in Washington State, including her time at Kaiser Permanente in Tacoma. During these years, she refined her surgical expertise across a wide range of procedures while also building a reputation for patient-centered care. She became board-certified and went on to establish Nordhavn Plastic Surgery, bringing her vision of elevated, personalized care to the community.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Larsen has contributed to research and education within the field of plastic surgery, with published work and presentations at professional meetings. She remains actively involved in leading professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, reflecting her ongoing commitment to excellence and staying at the forefront of her specialty.

Andrew handles things in the background. His focus is on creating cohesion between the business and practice by handling budget, compliance , human resources and marketing.
Arica Hodkinson
Front Desk/Receptionist
Arica handles the front office, as her day is filled with greeting patients, answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, scheduling your appointments and making sure the front end of the office runs smoothly. She’s excited to meet and greet everyone who walks through our doors!
Amy Rachko
Medical Assistant LPN
Amy enjoys working closely with both patients and the provider to help make each visit as smooth and comfortable as possible. Her day includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures. She takes pride in creating a supportive and welcoming environment while helping the clinical team provide excellent patient care.
